Meet the Team

Our goal is to work with you using the most current longevity research and health tools to help you increase your healthspan, live healthier, and maximize your quality of life.

  • Hi I’m Dr. Andy Strachan. I’m a Doctor of Chiropractic and I hold a masters in sports science and rehabilitation from Logan University. Since graduating from chiropractic school, I have spent time working with an active population ranging from weekend warriors to Olympians. My primary focus is on understanding the true root of an injury and formulating a plan that works as a long-term fix to the problem.

This philosophy of treatment is the foundation of which Living 4 Longevity was founded on. I saw a lack of foundation health and wellness with my patients and noticed that this was leading to reoccurring injuries and health issues. I wanted to help individuals make lifestyle changes that would allow them to be athletes for life and be able to enjoy physical activity even has they were hitting the later stages of life.

I love learning about the latest science and research on longevity and applying them to his own life. I am an avid runner and is constantly trying to improve my own health and well-being.

  • Hi, I’m Tim and my personal health journey is what led me to an interest in the research around longevity and improving your healthspan.

After forty-plus years of working in international transportation and logistics which involved a lot of travel and sitting at a desk, I decided I wanted to get back to running in order to deal with stress and health issues brought on by inactivity and pain from spinal surgery. This brought me to Andy Strachan, a talented chiropractor, who eventually became my health coach helping me train for a marathon. Andy is a phenomenal coach (more about that later) and worked with me to start where I was and take the right steps to get me where I wanted to be. Since then, I’ve lost 100 pounds and I ran my first marathon in 2019 at 69 years old! I’ve continued to train and ran a second marathon in 2020, and another in 2021, plus several other half-marathons.

In 2018 I had begun working at our local Y as a wellness coach and began training to become a certified personal trainer. Working with people to meet them where they are and get them started on their own path to better health is incredible work. I meet so many people from various walks of life and they inspire me to continue to learn about the latest fitness research and technology. Through my work at the Y, I became involved with a program called Save Your Brain which got me fired up to know more. Learning more about dementia prevention, lifespan, healthy aging has become a passion. There is a slew of new and ground-breaking research and I was excited to learn that only 20% of our health as we age is due to genetic factors. The other 80% is under our control and the sooner we make those changes the more we improve our lifespan and our overall quality of life.
